Hours of the School Day

The nature of our site and its location along with the size of our school means that we have to organise and manage the start and end of the school day every carefully to ensure the safe entry and exit of children and adults.

We have an extended start and staggered ending to the day to ensure the health and safety of everyone who attends our school site as well as our neighbours and members of the local community.

The school gate opens to all pupils at 8.40am.

All pupils can then make their way to their classrooms to begin learning.

The gates are then closed and locked at 8.55am.

EYFS and KS1: 8.40am - 3.10pm 

KS2 Y3 and Y4: 8.40am - 3.10pm 

KS2 Y5 and Y6: 8.40am - 3.15pm 

Total hours per week:

EYFS / KS1: 32 hours 30 minutes

KS2 Y3 and Y4: 32 hours 30 minutes

KS2 Y5 and Y6: 32 hours 55 minutes
