School Uniform
Uniform
At Millfield we believe that a smart school uniform helps develop a sense of pride in our school and we are very grateful to parents / carers for their continued support with this.
Our school uniform consists of:
- Plain red cardigan /jumper / sweatshirt
- White polo shirt
- Trousers/Skirt (black or very dark grey)
- Socks (black or white)
- Black shoes

Other items are available in stores and supermarkets in Tamworth.
Please note that plain red sweatshirts, cardigans or PE hoodies without a school logo are completely acceptable.
PE kit consists of:
- Coloured house t shirt (details to be given once child starts school) black shorts / joggers and appropriate sports shoes / trainers
On PE days pupils are asked to wear their PE kit to school - this saves time with changing and also prevents pupils from forgetting kit therefore enabling increased participation by all in PE lessons - pupils may need to wear additional clothing on these days - particularly in the colder months. Please note pupils should not wear football shirts or similar on PE days for lessons.
We ask that all items of uniform – especially jumpers and sweatshirts - are clearly named so that if they are mislaid they can be returned to your child
School book bags and PE bags are available via the school office (we would prefer pupils to have some form of book bag rather than a ruck sack or other type of bag as it is easier to fit in reading books, home learning tasks, etc.)
